Give your benchtops a makeover!

We recently performed a DIY project here at Paint Place CQ and transformed a Motel Cabinet into a modern masterpiece.
The transformation was significant and provided a fresh and modern feel to the Motel room by simply changing the look of the cabinet. You can give your benchtops and cabinets a makeover too and provide a new and fresh look to your home interior.
The process is simple with only a few quick and easy steps.
Step 1:
Clean the surface by using solvent cleaner.
Step 2:
Prepare and abrade the surface by using a diamond impregnated sanding block.
Step 3:
Prime the surface with 2 coats of 2 pack Epoxy Primer.
Step 4:
Sand between the coats and dust off the excess.
Step 5:
Apply the topcoat with 2 coats of 2 pack Polyurethane gloss.
We used a portable HVLP sprayer to complete our restoration project. The HVLP sprayer is available for hire from our Paint Place CQ stores.
